Nel 2023 ho realizzato la mia prima opera, un cortometraggio basato sull’entanglement quantistico. Secondo Einstein l’entanglement si manifesta quando due particelle sono intrinsecamente collegate e questa unione ha effetti sul sistema fisico: qualsiasi azione o misura sulla prima ha un effetto istantaneo anche sulla seconda (e viceversa) anche se si trova a distanza. Ovviamente il livello di entanglement sarà molto più forte con gli esseri umani con i quali abbiamo relazioni affettive. L’idea nasce da una storia vera, per la tragica scomparsa di Genny, un giovane e bravo dronista di 23 anni, travolto con la sua moto da un furgone. Raccontare attraverso lo strumento cinematografico il meraviglioso e indissolubile legame tra madre e figlio, la speranza di una madre, la fredda disperazione di un padre nella ricerca di una “verità”.
In 2023 I made my first work, a short film based on quantum entanglement. According to Einstein, entanglement occurs when two particles are intrinsically connected and this union has effects on the physical system: any action or measure on the first has an instantaneous effect on the second (and vice versa) even if it is located at a distance. Obviously the level of entanglement will be much stronger with human beings with whom we have affective relationships. The idea comes from a true story, for the tragic death of Genny, a young and good dronist of 23 years, overwhelmed with his motorcycle by a van. Telling through the film instrument the wonderful and indissoluble bond between mother and son, the hope of a mother, the cold despair of a father in the search for a “truth”

Marianna in un sogno premonitore immagina che “nell’’oltre” ci sia un’altra vita; parla con i suoi affetti, vede un mondo onirico fatto di tante anime bianche, padroni dell’immensità, che volteggiano e danzano liberi. Alla fine il risveglio; la realtà, l’angoscia di una mamma poi, la tragica scoperta della perdita del figlio. Per Marianna un dolore terrificante, una voragine che inghiotta tutti e tutto, affossa il passato e annebbia il futuro, uno schiaffo alle promesse, ai doni e ai sacrifici d’amore gioiosamente consegnati alla vita che ha fatto nascere, che immerge anche lo spettatore in un magma indefinito dove la risposta non la troveranno mai… forse!

Marianna in a premonitory dream imagines that” in the “beyond” there is another life; she speaks with her affections, she sees a dreamlike world made of many white souls, masters of immensity, circling and dancing free. In the end the awakening; the reality, the anguish of a mother then, the tragic discovery of the loss of her son. For Marianna a terrifying pain, a chasm that swallows everyone and everything, sinks the past and clouds the future, a slap to the promises, gifts and sacrifices of love joyfully delivered to the life she gave birth, which also immerses the viewer in an indefinite magma where the answer will never find it… maybe!
